In this workshop, we’ll cover some basic features and functions to familiarize you with Microsoft Excel.
Some topics we’ll cover in this 1.5-hour lesson include:
– Learn how to move around the Excel Environment
– Learn how to move data around with Sort
– Learn how to highlight and hide data with Filter and Conditional Formatting
– Make a simple search feature with VLOOKUP (exact match)
– Make simple Calculations about your data
– Put data in bins for visuals with Frequency (note: we will try to get to this)
Pre-requisites
No prior experience with Excel is needed. Attendees are asked to have a local installation of Microsoft Excel or access to Excel Online through Office on their own computers for the workshop.
